According to the International Spa Association (ISPA), the total number of visits to spas rose above 180 million last year—the highest number since the association has been recording data for its annual report on spa industry financial indicators. Visits are estimated to have increased to 184 million in 2016, a 2.5% increase from 2015. The rise in visits helped total revenue surpass its previously record-setting mark of $16.3 billion in 2015 to reach $16.8 billion in 2016 (up 3.1%). ...
